- Iron tools: This included iron ploughs, hoes, and axes in farming. Iron ploughs were easier to use than wood plows because they were heavier and sharper. Not as much pressure was needed to cut furrows. The advancement in agriculture because of these technologies encouraged handicrafts and commerce to develop.
- Ox-drawn plows: Although the iron ploughs were useful, they were also heavy and difficult to push. Because of this, oxen were used to pull the plow.
- Advanced architectural skills: Palaces were built grander, and tiles and bronze were used for decoration in it.
- Extension of routes: There was a need for communication for politics, military affairs, and the economy. The Silk Road traveled to Eurasia, and traffic developed enormously. The use of carriages were frequent.
